" On Sept. 24, 1995 very hot coffee was spilled on my leg while driving home from vacation. It was not possible to stop to assess the damage done right then and since my leg did not feel burned I kept on driving. When I stopped several hours later I noticed my leg was red, and beginning to hurt, and blisters were beginning to form. That evening I applied EMU OIL to the burned area and the pain was relieved. I arrived home the following evening. I had a doctors appointment for the 26th of Sept. and the doctor told me to continue doing what I had been doing as the burn looked like it was healing. I applied EMU OIL to the burned area in the morning and wrapped it with gauze, this was done again in the evening for four weeks. Once healed I continued to apply EMU OIL each morning and evening. The doctor had told me to expect the burn area to be scarred with coloration that would remain for up to three years. It has been a year and the skin in the burned area is normal with no scarring and the coloration is almost totally gone. Using EMU OIL removed the pain from this burn, there was no itching and the skin was not scarred. I was very pleased with the results."
